The Johnson Tractor Service Technician Scholarship Program aids students who are enrolled in an approved educational program that would prepare them for a career with our team.
Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of factors including scholastic ability, community involvement and extracurricular activities.
Program Benefits:
· Scholarships are awarded in the amounts of $2000.00 per full student term, with a maximum earned scholarship of $8000.00.
· Scholarships can be used to pay for tuition or other program specific materials.
· A set of CNH tools will be provided during employment with Johnson Tractor. Tools may be taken to school as needed. If the applicant completes three years of full-time employment with Johnson Tractor, they may keep the set of tools at no cost.
· Uniforms will be provided for participants in the program and may also be used at school.
Scholarship Guidelines:
1. Applicants must be employed by Johnson Tractor.
2. Applicants must be enrolled in an approved program and school.
3. Applicants must be able to work a set part-time schedule while attending school. Additional hours can be worked and are encouraged during school break periods and the summer.
4. Class schedules and availability to work must be updated with a manager before the start of each term once class schedules are set. Any schedule changes within the current term must be updated with a manager.
5. Awards will be determined based on a combination of student’s involvement in school and community activities, academics, employment history, community service and awards earned.
6. Applicants must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to Johnson Tractor’s insurance company while participating in the program and while employed by Johnson Tractor.
7. Applications will be reviewed by members of Johnson Tractor’s Leadership Team who will make the final decision on scholarship awards.
8. At the end of each term, award recipients must submit a transcript proving successful completion of their coursework to their manager and to the Human Resources department, at which time the scholarship award will be issued directly to the recipient.
9. Scholarship awards may be subject to cancellation if the student does not maintain satisfactory academic standards, changes course of study, changes schools or fails to maintain acceptable employment status.
10. Receipt of a scholarship award is not a guarantee or a contract for employment; however, Johnson Tractor would like those recipients who are offered full-time employment (after graduation) to consider a minimum of two years of service with Johnson Tractor.
